NHRRA News: Feb. 28, 2009

To NHRRA members:

It is time to assemble a ballot for the election of officers for the NHRRA.  The offices are two year terms.  At present, the potential candidates are:

Peter Griffin  --  President
Tom Noel  --  Vice President
Steve Piper  --  Recording Secretary
Steve Flanders  --  Treasurer
William Remington  --  Executive Committee
Mark Richardson  --  Executive Committee

However, Mark Richardson stated that he would likely be out of the country for much of the remaining time of this year.  Therefore, he said he would serve if called upon to do so, but would not likely be too actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Association.

As a consequence of the need to elect officers this year, the nomination committee is formally requesting members to express their desire (as may be applicable) to run for office.  This may be accomplished by contacting either Tom Noel or Gary Kerr (See contacts page) to express your desire, but must be done prior to the 20th of March 2009.  Alternatively, a letter mailed to the secretary of the association at to the following address with a post mark not later than March 20th may be used to indicate your desire to be on the ballot.
